A late 19th century Anglo – Indian silver cream jug, Cutch, Bhuj by Oomersi Mawji Jnr, import marks for London 1894 by Frank Ledger
Raj period, of inverted baluster form with an everted wavy rim leading to a leaf capped double C scroll handle. The body with chased decoration of foliate scrolls with rosettes between borders of stylised acanthus leaves. Marked underneath O.M BHUJ incuse, and with import marks for sterling standard.
Height – 8 cm / 3.2 inches
