AMENDED - A mid 18th century English oak longcase clock, circa 1765, the case of palin form with flat top supported by two Doric columns, the trunk with rectangular door, case possibly later, the dial with a silvered chapter ring (tarnished) with Roman numerals, single hour hand, the pierced brass spandels with scrolling design centred with floral urns, the frosted brass centre with date apeture and engraved scene of two birds, signed 'Phil.p Avenell, Farnham', with a 30 hour weight driven driven movement striking the full hours on a large bell
