Opaque pigments heightened with gold on paper, the vertical composition depicting a bust portrait of an Indian prince holding a golden box filled with pearls and gems in one hand and a large spinel bead in the other, his attire and accessories especially the fur-lined robe and black heron feather in the turban clearly influenced by Mughal fashion standards, set within black and white rules and red borders, 20.2cm x 14cm.
