A late 19^th century Anglo – Indian silver tea caddy, Kashmir with import marks for London 1898 by Lizzie Chapple

Raj period, of cube form with a hinged lid surmounted by a chased coiled serpent. The body with chased decoration of a central rosette with four leafy fronds reserved with rosettes. Gilt interior. Fully marked underneath for sterling standard.
