A FINE JAPANESE SILVER AND ENAMEL PRESENTATION STEM VASE - OSHIMA / RIBBENTROP, Yokohama dated 1938, attributed to the retailer Sanku Sanju. The shaped ovoid body raised upon a stepped square form base with waited pedestal stem. The body with applied decoration of hanging wisteria, partially with translucent enamel. The base with applied lotus forms and tendrils, topped with polychrome translucent enamel. The rim engraved with a presentation inscription reading 'J. V. RIBBENTROP - GENERAL HIROSHI OSHIMA - 1938'. Signed to the side
