A Victorian silver plated (EPNS) bacon or breakfast dish, circa 1870
of egg form with revolving lid and ivory thumbpiece, cast ornate legs with boar’s head masks terminating in oak leaf and acorn feet. The twin scroll carrying handles with ridged decoration. The interior with hot water well, base dish and mazarine. Together with an early 20th century tantalus, three octagonal hobnail cut glass square decanters in an oak frame with silver plated mounts, unlocked key deficient. Together with three silver plated wine labels, for Gin, Whiskey and Brandy. (2)
