Three autograph letters signed ('GMaspero'), all in French, one to "Cher Monsieur Sciciliani", saying "Everything will be ready tomorrow at ten o'clock...The Prince will excuse us if we show him the museum in disarray", one page, integral blank, 8vo, n.p., n.d.; two letters from Cairo are addressed to an unknown female recipient ("Chere Madame"), one reading "Your little book took a long time to reach me. I was in upper Egypt when it arrived in Cairo and it waited for me there for several weeks" and mentioning a trip to Italy, four pages, 16 June 1912; the other letter mentions Florence "Judging by the photographs in your little volume, the Palazzo della Lana has been completed and the new parts do not contrast too much with the old ones", four pages, 6 May 1913, and another note from Maspero; also including an autograph letter from Italian Egyptologist Vittorio Lanzone and a copy of La Spedizione Pontificia in Egitto, five pages, original wrappers, 4to, Rome, 1844 (6)
