AVID IMAGES SPECIAL EDITION PORTFOLIO, 1988

Portfolio of toned, vintage silver prints (10), by Colin Jarvie & David Scheinmann, taken 1986-1987, published by The Special Photographers Company, London, in a special edition portfolio,1988. Each sheet measuring 38 x 30.5cm, housed in the original tri-fold cardboard folio, with printed introductory text and list of plates with styling details, signed by both photographers and editioned 79/950. The introductory text from Catherine Turner, Director of The Special Photographers Company, notes that Jarvie and Scheinmann (known under the partnership Avid Images), held their first major exhibition at The Special Photographers Gallery in 1988, displaying over 70 works.
