A George V sterling silver fruit basket, London 1910 by Daniel and John Welby

In the 18^th century Dutch style, of shaped oval everted form raised upon four cast feet formed as horns of plenty, the body of saw-pierced and engraved decoration of foliate C scrolls and bouquets of fruit. The shaped rim of C scrolls centred with bouquets of flowers; the handles formed as openwork rocaille C scrolls. Fully marked underneath.
