A George V sterling silver fruit basket, London 1910 by Daniel and John Welby
In the 18th century Dutch style, of shaped oval everted form raised upon four cast feet formed as horns of plenty, the body of saw-pierced and engraved decoration of foliate C scrolls and bouquets of fruit. The shaped rim of C scrolls centred with bouquets of flowers; the handles formed as openwork rocaille C scrolls. Fully marked underneath.
