A large Victorian sterling silver beaker, London 1872 by William Wrangham Williams
Of cylindrical form with an everted lip and a moulded base. Engraved to the side with a coat of arms surmounted by a helmet with foliate mantling and a crest of a lion’s head erased, with a motto below Virtutis Praemium Honor. Gilt interior. Fully marked bear rim. Stamped underneath Lambert 12 Coventry Street London.
