Attlee') reading "Mr Attlee, with his humble duty to the King, has the honour to submit for Your Majesty's most gracious approval that the persons named in the attached list [list not included in the lot] be sworn to Your Majesty's most honourable Privy Council", marked "app.d GRI" in King George VI's hand, one page light yellowing, one punch hole to top left corner, 10 Downing Street, 4 October 1946; together with: a typed letter from Harold Macmillan to a Mr Prince, saying "I really did enjoy my visit to Barnstaple, and I feel that I owe much of my enjoyment to your kindness. I send you my grateful thanks, which are accompanied by my best wishes for a truly successful Warships Week", one page, 8vo, Colonial Office, Downing Street, 16 March 1942 and signed photographs of Tony Benn and John Callaghan (5)
