A very large mid-20th century Iranian (Persian) silver bowl with charger, Isfahan circa 1950

Pahlavi dynasty, the bowl of rounded circular form with a shaped chased monabbat-kari rim of rosettes. The body with engraved ghalam zani decoration of peony cartouches reserved with arabesques. The charger or under plate centred with a medallion of tessellated shaped and pointed forms, the broad rim with peony cartouches reserved with arabesques. Marked underneath bowl with standard mark (۸۴) and obscured workshop mark, the charger with obscured mark. (2)
