A late 19th / early 20th century French 950 standard silver vegetable tureen / entrée dish, Paris circa 1900 by Simon Slisonski (active 1888-1903)
of compressed circular form upon a spreading circular foot, with cast twin acanthus and shell handles, the pull off domed lid, surmounted by a cast rocaille scroll handle. The body and lid with spiral fluting heightened with rocaille decoration. Marked to each.
