A PARCEL GILT IRON BATTLE AXE HEAD, POSSIBLY TIBETAN OR MONGOLIAN, the pierced blade cast with a dragon's head issuing a cross, the body with roundels decorated with repeating trefoil decoration, with a quatraform pick to the rear.

12.5cm high x 25cm wide x 7cm deep

Notes: A similar example is in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, dated circa 13th to 16th century, accession number 2008.158.
