Basil Wedmore to the front endpaper and dated 1890.  James De Ville (1777-1846) was a noted practical British Phrenologist, supplier and maker of phrenological casts in London from the 1820s to the 1840s. Edmund Basil Wedmore (1876-1956) was prominent for his work on bee-keeping.
