A George V sterling silver ‘Ox Eye’ or college twin handled cup, Chester 1925 by S Blanckensee and Son Ltd

After the 1677 models, of baluster form upon a moulded collet foot, twin circular loop handles, engraved to the side with the coat of arms of Queen’s College, Oxford, within foliate mantling, the reverse engraved “C. T. B. L from C. P. L. Oxford October 20 1927”. Fully marked underneath, and stamped Walford and Spokes, Oxford.
