A QASHQAI RUG, SOUTH-WEST PERSIA, approx: 230cm. x 124cm. Very nice example from tribal weaveing with unusual original weaving fault in design draw (one of the open spandrels and seldom found mistake). Well balanced colours and good design with stylised bird motif border. This rug has full pile, soft wool quality. Selvages and ends secured. In general this rug is in very good usable condition. Attractive and very good furnishing piece.
