Oil on canvas, the horizontal-format composition depicting a typical hunting scene in India with two Europeans taking aim and shooting at wild animals with their long rifles, on the right an elephant and horse being manned by Indian attendants, in the foreground another attendant with a dog on the leash and more hunting dogs running wild seeking preys, the panel with a black nasta'liq inscription at the bottom attributing the work to the painter Mirza Baba al-Husseini, mounted and framed, 48cm x 60cm including the frame.
