a Union Officer's Dress or Parade Sword Model 1860, issued during the American Civil War, signed RIDABOCK & CO. NEW YORK, NY, etched steel blade, bearing US Federal eagle, the hilt with gilt decoration, the grip wire bound shark skin,

complete with spare dress scabbard,

98cm in length,.

Ridabock & Co. were New York-based manufacturers and dealers in uniforms & equipment, and at one time were based at 251 Fifth Avenue.
