Of rectangular shape, folding in two equal halves, with a raised outer border, the exterior inlaid with coloured woods, bone and brass micro-mosaic (khatamkari) shaped in hexagonal medallions filled with stars and geometric patterns, large six-pointed star designs to the centre repeating the same hexagonal geometric motif in the background, the sides with oblong rectangular cartouches within bone and ivory-inlaid frames, the interior lined in camel brown synthetic velvet, 41cm x 53cm when open, 20.5cm x 50cm when closed.
