A late 19th century Austrian 800 standard silver bachelor three-piece coffee set on tray, Vienna circa 1880 by Joseph Carl Klinkosch (b. 1822, master 1843, d. 1888)
Comprising a coffee pot, milk jug and twin handled sugar bowl and oval tray. Each of tapering cylindrical form with moulded rim, upon a circular foot. The coffee pot with a curved spout opposite a turned ivory handle pinned to circular sockets, the side hinged domed lid with a detachable tuned ivory finial. The milk jug with ivory handle, the sugar bowl with gilt interior. The oval tray with cavetto edge. Each with engraved decoration of bell flower swags, tied ribbon and crossed laurel branches, each side with an oval cartouche, one with engraved initials in cypher EM below a Counts coronet. The tray engraved envsuite. Marked to field edge, the vessels with makers mark only JCK. (4)
