The very thinly potted 'eggshell' dish, finely enamelled and decorated with a figurative domestic scene depicting a lady surrounded by two children at play, surrounded by vases adorned with floral arrrangements and scholar's objects, surrounded by an outer geometric border in green and further geometric borders in pink and blue adorned with three cartouches with floral sprays.
