A set of eighteen St Louis crystal hock glasses, in the 'Tommy' design, circa 1970, each with red bowl, facet, ball and diamond cut on a colourless faceted stem, the circular foot with etched mark to the underside. (18)

Originally designed in 1938 for a dinner held in the Hall of Mirrors in the Chateau de Versailles on the occasion of a visit by King George VI. Each place setting was set with eleven glasses from the “Tommy” series.

Provenance: Puchased by the current owner in 1971.
