An early 20th century Austrian 900 standard silver and guilloche enamel case, Vienna circa 1910 by Georg Adam Scheid (1838-1921, reg. 1882)
Rectangular form with rounded corners. The exterior with engine turned decoration topped with translucent white enamel. Two hinged compartments, one for cigarettes the other matches, the lid with blue past thumbpieces. Striker to the side. Marked to the interior G.A.S, pre-1921 assay mark, 900 and German crown and crescent.
