A MUSICAL RASA Malwa school, West Central India, 17th-18th century  Opaque pigments on paper, the vertical composition depicting a musician playing a double toomba sitar seated under a domed pavilion, the scene set in a garden with trees on either side of the structure and a pond to the base, within a white cardboard frame and mounted on a faux-wooden frame, 33cm x 26.5cm including the frame.
