Autograph letter signed ('Margaret Rutherford') to Mr Richardson, reading "Thank you for writing to me about the film. I am glad you seem to approve. I am pretty well, thank you. The spring weather has brought out our daffodils, quite a fine show. We have other spring flowers too", one page, intersecting folding marks, 8vo, Elm Close, Packhorse Road, 25 April 1970, with original mailing envelope; sold together with two letters from Margaret's husband Stringer Davis, one reading "I am awfully sorry but my wife, Dame Margaret Rutherford, and I have forgotten our association with you, and how we know you! She very much appreciated your birthday greeting, but I have agreed to write to you to remind ourselves, so that she can write her thanks more understandingly", 16 June 1970, and the other, written after Rutherford's death, reading "The picture of Margaret in the world's affection shines clearly", 10 August 1972 (3)
