An assembled George IV and Victorian sterling silver four-piece tea and coffee service, London 1826 by William Bateman II and London 1883 by Walter & John Barnard
Comprising a Coffee pot, tea pot, milk jug and twin handled sugar bowl, the milk and sugar being George IV. Each of bellied oval form with gadrooned rim raised on ball feet, each with engraved decoration of foliate scrolls against a striated background. The milk and sugar with gilt interior and cast and chased handles of acanthus scrolls. The coffee pot with a wooden handle and finials, the teapot with a later fibre handle and ebonised finial. The coffee pot with a filter ring to interior. The teapot and coffee pot engraved EB in cursive script and the milk and sugar engraved the same with WID(?). All fully and part-marked. (4)
