A heavy Edwardian ‘arts and crafts’ sterling silver cigarette box, Birmingham 1901 by William Hutton and Sons
Of rectangular form with a hinged lid centrally domed, with applied strapwork hinges with a dimpled edge, all raised upon four shaped bracket feet with organic shaped sections. The lid with gently planished decoration. Fully marked to the sides and part-marked to the lid side. Engraved underneath for SORLEY, silversmiths Glasgow.
