An early 20th century Thai silver salve box, probably Bangkok circa 1920, marked Yong Mei
Of rounded circular form with a pull off lid embossed with foliate forms and scrolls to lid and base. Marked underneath in Chinese with possibly artisan mark 永美 (YONG MEI) and standard mark (solid silver) 足銀 (ZU YIN).
Diameter – 7.6 cm / 3 inches
Weight – 81 grams / 2.6 ozt
