A late 19th century Ottoman Turkish 900 standard silver dressing table mirror, with Tughra of Sultan Abdul Hamid II (1876-1909)
Of shaped oval form, the pinned embossed silver mounts formed as four sections, the top formed as two nesting doves billing surrounded by floral sprays and stylised leaves, the crescent shaped side sections with cornucopias of flowers joined by scrolling ribbons and foliage, the base section formed as a dove rising from rose heads flanked by foliage and stylised leaves. All pinned to a blue velvet lined wooden backing housing a mirror plate. The reverse with an applied unmarked rosette. The easel section with a label for Emanouel London Stock No. 8035 Price YZZ. Marked to the top section, crescent sections with the tughra and sahh marks, the base section seemingly unmarked.
