A MAYA JADE MATERNITY IDOL  Circa 1st Millennium A.D. Carved in mottled stone, the stylised figure is depicted in a kneeling position, with a large belly on which the short arms rest, the large head with incised facial features, 4cm high.  Provenance: Property from the collection of Mme C., France; French private collection.
