UNIVERSAL POSTAL UNION 1874-1974 COMMEMORATIVE GOLD STAMP.

Struck by the Royal Mint from 40 grams of 22 ct (.917) gold this "stamp" celebrates the centenary anniversary of the Universal Postal Union in 1974. It is struck in the form of the 1919 George V £1 stamp, the reverse is stamped with hallmarks and serial number 0530 (of 3,000). Offered in its original Royal Mint presentation case.
