An early 19th century Dutch 934 standard silver teapot, Amsterdam 1817 by Jan Anthonis de Haas (this mark 1812-35)
Of rounded rectangular form, half-fluted body, the curved spout opposite a later fibre D section handle pinned to sockets. The hinged lid of conforming shape surmounted by a detachable reeded knop finial. Marked throughout with first standard mark, date letter H and maker mark DH.
Length – 23 cm / 9.15 inches
Weight – 407 grams / 13.09 ozt
