LANDING AT INCHON, SOUTH KOREA, 1957. Silver gelatin print, printed later, image size 245 x 355mm, sheet size 310 x 410mm, signed by the photographer in ink lower right margin recto, with the photographer's Chartlands Farm stamp. Archivally mounted and framed with UV glass, frame size 410 x 510mm.

This view, one of Hardy's most famous from his time photographing the Korean War, was published in the Picture Post on 7 October 1950, with the caption, "During the Korean War, US Marines land from assault craft and climb over the sea defences at Inchon in South Korea after heavy bombardment of coastal defences by warships."
