A pair of mid-19th century Ottoman Turkish silver candy or incense vases, Tughra of Sultan Abdul Mecid (1839-61)
Each upon a shaped circular dished base upon three ball feet, with flat chased scroll edge, the vase sections with cast twin scroll handles, applied with cast foliate swags, surmounted by waisted lids, (one stuck), with floral finial. Marked throughout with tughra and sah marks (post-1844). (2)
