A late 19th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver tray, Cutch circa 1880 attributed to Oomersi Mawji (active 1860-90)
Raj period, of circular form with a cavetto edge and a shaped chased rim of foliate scrolls, all raised on three ball feet. The field centred with a plain circular boss edged with acanthus leaves, chased with foliate scrolls with rosettes and with animal hunting scenes including a lion attacking a peacock, a lion attacking a boar and wild dogs attacking a boar. The pierced and chased cavetto edge with foliate scrolls and rosettes.

London, Wynyard R T Wilkinson, p. 83 fig. 116. The quality of the chasing and the use of small ball feet supports this attribution.
