A CHINESE INSIDE-PAINTED 'CRICKETS' SNUFF BOTTLE.

Late Qing Dynasty, dated 1907, signed Ye Zhongsan (1875 – 1945).

With a tall flattened body finely decorated with insects hovering over a pond with goldfish beneath a weeping willow, inscribed and signed Ye Zhongsan, 6cm H. (2)

Provenance: English private collection, acquired in China in the early 20th Century, thence by descent to the present owner.
