1949 Vin d'Anjou Coteaux du Layon Domaine de Maligne (1 bottle) - Ullage 1x5cm

Here is an historic wine from the Coteaux du Layon, and from the legendary 1920s decade, particularly from 1921.

Many are Prunier selections for the famous restaurant in St James's which closed in the late 1970s. Their amazing cellar was sold off by Christie's and its probable that wines must have been purchased by our consignor at that time.

From the temperature-controlled cellar of a South of France estate, owned by a distinguished collector of fine and rare mature wines. It is worth noting that the prized damp conditions, ideal for ageing, have led to some label deterioration.

Estimated at £750 - £1,200
