An early 20th century Iranian (Persian) silver footed dish, Isfahan circa 1920-30
Late Qajar / early Pahlavi dynasty, on of circular form with a scalloped edge, raised on three cast scroll bracket feet. The flaring rim with pierced decoration of foliate forms with lobed cartouches engraved with scenes of animals, birds perched on branches, figures in conversation, a woman milking a cow, all below a rosette border. The centre with engraved ghalam zani decoration of a central lobed cartouche with a flower spray, edged with a rosette border and stamp work. Unmarked.
