A Paul I early 19th century Russian silver small teapot, Saint Petersburg circa 1800 by Hermann Gottlieb Unger
of urnular form upon a spreading circular detachable pedestal foot. The curved spout opposite an ebonised C scroll handle pinned to tubular sockets. The cavetto neck with a pull off domed lid surmounted by a detachable compressed knop finial with a detachable terrace of stylised leaves, the junction of foot to body also with leaf section. Marked underneath and to lid bezel only UNGER.
