A late 19th century Burmese silver mug, Thayetmyo dated 1871
Of baluster form upon a spreading circular foot, the double C scroll handle with acanthus capped thumbpiece and terminal. The body with embossed decoration of dancing figures as well as characters drawn from the Ramayana, all against a background of chased foliate scrolls within architraves, all above a band of acanthus leaves and beaded bands.
