Provenance: This sketchbook was purchased from Duke's of Dorchester on the 10th of April 2014.

By repute Ms Quant as a student reportedly hurled the sketchbook at her friend, college lecturer Alfred Page during a row after he criticised its contents. It was sold at auction by Mr Page's grandaughter.
