A GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF CUNDI BODHISATTVA.

Ming Dynasty.

The eighteen-armed bodhisattva is cast seated in dhyanasana with the primary hands held in the Cundi root mudra, draped in garlands to the chest and wears a flowing dhoti, tied at the waist, with an elaborate headdress. The face bears a serene expression with downcast eyes,16cm H.
