A PAIR OF CHINESE BRONZE 'PRUNUS TREE' VASES.
Qing Dynasty.
Each vase of slender form with a swelling body on an everted rim with a tall waisted neck further modelled as a burled trunk with a pair of handles cast in openwork as a branch each with two leaves resting back onto the trunk and surmounted by a small bird, the base cast with a three character Song yue lu mark, 27.5cm H, 1307g and 1294g.
