John French (1907-1966)

A PAIR OF FASHION STUDIES, c.1957. Two silver gelatin prints, image/sheet sizes 205 x 155mm, with description, date and title on typed label affixed verso, photographer's stamp verso, and a sample of fabric affixed to each verso.

Together with a group of 1950s & 1960s press prints and film stills (approx.100), many with typed caption labels affixed to verso; including film stills from Pinewood Studios & Arthur Rank Productions, prints from the Daily Mail Ideal Home Exhibition (Olympia, 1957); many with agency or photographers' stamps verso.
