Prediche di fra Ruberto volgare nuovamente corrette, secondo li Evangelii che se contengono in le ditte prediche, woodcut printer’s device depicting a Roman emperor with helmet, bow, sword, and banner with the inscription S.P.Q.R, on the right of the composition globe, and eagle, 39 vignettes (some larger) in text, initials, light waterstaining to a few leaves, scribbles on front free endpaper verso, ex libri Josephi Gaziero?, contemporary limp vellum, remains of leather ties, vellum stabs reinforcing text block, ink title to spine, soiled and stained, one extremity rubbed, wormed, [IT\ICCU\CNCE\009328; not in Adams], 8vo, Bartolomeo e Francesco Imperatore, Venice, 1555.

*** Scarce collection of sermons by the Franciscan preacher from Lecce and Bishop of Aquino Roberto Caracciolo (1425-1495). First editions appeared in Mantua, Milan and elsewhere c. 1475. Only the 1517 edition has appeared at auction
