A late 19^th century Anglo – Indian silver cup, Cutch with import marks for London 1890 by Louis Hatschek and Co (reg. 26^th May 1891)

Rounded circular form, moulded rim, splayed circular foot, a C scroll handle. Chased decoration of foliate scrolls with rosettes. Import marks for sterling standard underneath.

Height – 7.5 cm / 2.95 inches

Weight – 176 grams / 5.66 ozt

Given the change of date letter and the registration of the maker’s mark, in theory this would have been sent for assay between May 26^th and 29^th 1891.
