An early 20th century Chinese export silver small mug, Shanghai circa 1910 by Ming Ji retailed by Tuck Chang of Shanghai

Qing dynasty, of tapering cylindrical form with a moulded rim, a loop handle modelled as bamboo. The body with chased decoration of two trailing Chinese dragons amidst clouds, centring upon the sacred pearl formed as a vacant circular cartouche, all against a textured ground. Gilt interior. Marked underneath with artisan mark 朋記 (MING JI, workshop of Ming), and retailer’s mark TC.
