Milligan (Spike) & Alan Clare Two autograph versions of a lyric entitled 'Giaconda' written by Spike  Milligan, accompanied by an autograph note to Alan Clare reading "Herewith 2 versions of Giaconda lyrics - it's the best I can do in the time I have to spare. Spike"; original music score of Alan Clare for a song called "The Small Summer" written by Spike, with handwritten lyric in Spike's hand (Perth, 15 August 1984), also including a photocopy of the lyric with some autograph amendments made by Spike (Jan 1985) and a note to Alan saying "Here's a new version of the Small Summer Song. It's the last two lines I've re-written, they are much better than the previous ones, but I'm still not satisfied with them - but then I never am. I + Shelagh are staying at Foxcombe House - in the top floor, previously servants quarters. It's ghastly quiet- the sun is shining- and so am I. Re the lyrics - see that Dave Barnes and his Ace Explotation Company get a cassette of the tune and a copy of the lyrics - otherwise we are doing it all for sweet FA", one page, n.d. (small quantity)
