The handle with an embossed seen of a fairy unravelling yarn, against a planished ground, ivory section detached. Together with a late 19th century silver match case or small purse, lining deficient, of rounded rectangular form engraved with aesthetic type decoration of birds upon branches to one side and a butterfly to the other, marked only with French guarantee mark to interior bezel only.
